GAIA celebrates its fifth year in Thun in 2013 - an occasion to revisit bygone highlights of the Festival, coupled with new discoveries.

Within its relatively short existence, the award-winning GAIA has established itself not only as a chamber music festival, but has also become a cultural and social phenomenon.

Internationally-renowned musicians meet and collaborate to create a series of chamber music concerts that have become a year-round sensation, with performances, international broadcasts of live concerts, masterclasses, and other educational events taking place in the months surrounding the festival week.
